FCPA Edwin Makori is a passionate, high performing, leader with broad managerial experience in Leading teams, Strategy, Finance, Business Development, Innovation, and IT.
He has over the time built the capability to collaborate with and inspire teams to deliver extra-ordinary results, transform organizations and impact society positively with scale to grow balance sheet (statement of financial position) and P&L (statement of income) positions with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He is the team lead of the 5th largest professional accountancy organization and serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He oversees the technical issues, accounting and auditing standards, ethical standards regulation, compliance, audit quality monitoring (assurance), registration, public policy and governance and research.
FCPA Makori has been a Lecturer in the School of Business at Egerton University and Nairobi University, Kenya focusing on Strategy, Finance and accounting work. He has previously practiced as an auditor in a renowned audit firm and also served as a Finance Director a in various public sectors and private sectors..
FCPA Makori has an undergraduate degree in Commerce (Finance and Accounting) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi. He is also a certified ERP Consultant, CISA, a member of Institute of Directors (IoD), ISACA and ILM (Institute of Leadership Management).
CPA Makori served in the board of Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (kasneb) and serves regionally in the Interim Oversight Board (IOB) for African Professionalization Initiative-Africa, Africa Integrated Reporting Council (AIRC) and internationally in the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) where he serves as a technical advisor. He has also served on several other boards internationally and locally including the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB).

Mr. Peterson Maina is a trained educationist at Highridge College at Parklands, Nairobi and later pursued a Bachelor of Education degree at Mount Kenya University.
He has been in the education sector as a teacher and trainer both in public (under BoM's) and private institutions. He has over fifteen years of experience and this has seen him play key roles in the curriculum implementation & assessments and administration & management in education institutions across the two levels of the Basic Education.
His vast experience in education blends well with the CEMASTEA's core mandate of providing continuous professional development of teachers in STEM education.
Mr. Samuel Kiprop

Mr. Kiprop has over 12 years’ experience as an Economist in the Public Sector in Kenya. Currently, he is a Senior Economist at the National Treasury and specializes in the fields of public finance, investment appraisal, and economic development policy. He has worked extensively on planning and budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of public investment projects and programmes, strategic planning, and performance management. Mr. Kiprop has also served as a secretary to various taskforces on establishment of public funds and on public investment management in Kenya. Previously Mr. Kiprop worked as an Economist at the State Department for Economic Planning with the profile of developing alternative strategies on poverty alleviation.
He has Masters of Development Policy from Korean Development Institute, School of Public Policy and Management and a B.A in Economics from Kenyatta University. He has undergone extensive professional training in public investment and is a certified Training of Trainers participant in Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis from Queen’s University, Canada. He has also consolidated vast knowledge and training in national and regional development, international relations, financial management, and governance. Mr. Kiprop is a member of Economists Society of Kenya.

Ms. Nanzala Mayabi brings a wealth of legal expertise, having been a legal practitioner for close to a decade in various capacities where she been exposed to numerous complex issues specializing in areas including but not limited to litigation, commercial law, land, conveyancing and environment law, employment and labour laws.
She also has a Board interaction experience, having served and is still serving at the Kenya National Highways Authority, a state corporation, where she chairs the Audit and the Governance Committee.
Ms. Mayabi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and is a member Law Society of Kenya and East Africa Law Society
